my life in a nutshell

hmmm…it has a ring to it, doesn’t it? i feel like i should have a golden bust, with a velvet rope around it and an armed guard on the ready sitting in a hallowed hall somewhere.

ok ok, most of you have zero idea what im talking about and rightly so…let me fill you in. in the middle of last week i got an email from the taylor hicks hq admins and they asked if i would like to be the HQ’s fan of the week.

lets ponder that a second shall we?

would i like to be the fan of the week for the man that i regard as my musical hero?

ummm…yes…yes i would be. 

im surprised that ya’ll didn’t hear me squealing when i read the email.

check out the top friend on taylor’s myspace…let me know if he looks familiar…go ahead…ill wait.

 ok good, you’re back…awesome! moving on. did you see that great hair day? 

i should have made sure to include the clause that there should be no other taylor hicks related news for “my” week! i wouldn’t want any minor celebrity news to show up “my” week!

now wait wait wait…before all of you evil, mean spirited, hateful, wicked city women (im sorry, “loyal soul patrol members”) start to defend mr. hicks…im kidding! im a giant supporter of taylor and his music…couldn’t care less about the other shit though AND i could care even less if the HQ is never eeeeever updated! im a member for life because they gave me the opportunity to meet my hero three times and that is worth far more than twenty five dollars a year!

in other news…as far as we know, “early works” is set for release on 8/12, but no one is taking pre orders for it any more and who knows if it is really gonna be released or if it’ll go the way of “whomp at the warfield.” i could care less about hearing the same songs that ive owned for a couple of years now again, but would love to add another piece  to my collection. it would be a piece of taylor hicks history and i love being a part of his history…he’s a genius in my eyes! “fairly soon the time will tell.”

before i wrap it up for the night, i wanted to share a link to an interesting post that i came across last evening. the writer is, in my opinion, very good at what they do…it is a well crafted post. i drooled when i read it! 

im sure ill post again very very soon, i expect the traffic to pick up a bit since my space is an advertisment for this site! im a shameless self promotor, aren’t i?
